You don't think most people would mention the keyword "golf" and "nutrition" in the same sentence - but the truth is that I get this question much:


"Joey, what are some snack foods good to take with me in golf course 18 holes?


Most people realize not she, but golf is a sport requiring physical (and mental). We already know that optimum flexibility with good core conditioning is essential to your ideal game and long-term abilities…


But what most people underestimate the nutritional power of the element. When we talk about sports performance - regardless of the sport - what you put into your body is a critical factor. No two ways about it…


Over the course of snacks is something that most golfers of baffles. Truth is quite simple. In the course of a typical round of golf-, it is easy to let time slip by without fuel refueling your body with a perfect mixture of fat proteins and carbohydrates.


Without right "fuel mixture" - your engines cannot perform properly… Your performance suffers and you know not even why. You think that your calendar is off - when in reality your blood glucose is low and you're a bit "off center".


With a simple - but balanced intake, nutrient - you can solve this problem.


So here is my first choice of ideal snacks to take over:


ONE - two ounces almonds or cashew nuts and a banana.


TWO - two cheddar cheese sticks and an Apple.


THREE full Cup of dried fruit & nut granola mix and carrot sticks.


Four - two bars of nutrition with nutrient ratios appropriate for blood sugar stable and energy optimal You want to be sure to stay away from any kind of bar with chemical and artificial sweeteners (like aspartame, Acesulfame-potassium, sucralose, etc.). These can do a number on your focus and clarity — not to mention your health long term.
