Buffalo Bill was introduced to golf by her father at the age of 5 and began his PGA Tour career in 1955 at the age of 24, which could be regarded as a late start compared to today's standards. Even with this early end it ended with 51 victories on the PGA Tour, 6 on the all-time victory list. These 51 victories include two U.S. opens and a master's degree. He also won nine Championships Tour Senior, including two main Majors, one USGA Senior Open, in 1983.

Buffalo Bill was inducted into World Golf Hall of Fame in 1978 and Hall of fame in 1982 PGA. He played in eight Ryder Cup teams and is the captain of the Ryder Cup in 1979. He won five trophies Vardon, awarded to the player with the lowest average score for the year and was a player of the year award twice. In 1968, he was the first player to exceed $200,000 earnings season and won his second title of money. He is also the second player in history to achieve gains $ 1 million career mark, Arnold Palmer, being the first.

These are the highlights on the golf of Buffalo Bill's career. Only five people in the history of the game have done over on the PGA Tour. Sam Snead leads list of victory all time with 81 WINS, followed by Jack Nicklaus and Ben Hogan, 73 64, "the King, Arnold Palmer, has 62 and Byron Nelson has 52, to complete the top 5." All five of these great champions, as well as accomplished less pros, are spoken of all time, but not of Buffalo Bill. For some reason any name appears sometimes. One would think that with credentials like these, his name would be a word familiar at least through-out golf world. Yet, for some reason that isn't the case.

Zut his name did not even appear here yet! Who is Buffalo Bill?

Well for those of you who have not figured it out yet, it is none other then son native San Diego, Billy Casper.

Why Buffalo Bill?

When Billy Casper started a strict regime of bison meat, it has a series of WINS-WINS PGA Tour all - 51 which assured status legendary golf course. This earned culinary feature Casper the moniker "Buffalo Bill." The rest, including the aforementioned masters Championship and two US Open titles is historical.
